Create Scalable Reporting Framework

We need help developing program design templates or framework that we can reuse and adapt for different programs, evaluation tools, impact measurement methods, and feedback loops to assess what’s working and what needs improving.

WHAT WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH

We need a framework to design, replicate & measure high-impact career-guidance programs across Africa. We want to design consistent, outcome and impact driven programs that align with our vision, are sustainable and are easy to deliver across multiple schools and regions.

WHERE WE ARE TODAY

CareerLabs’ flagship offering is career mapping and career guidance - students fill out questionnaires and then we discuss the result. We mainly focused on Grade 10s and 11s. We visit schools and typically deliver a 90 min workshop in person.

We’ve piloted several career-guidance programmes (90-min workshops; 10 schools; ≈ 2 500 learners).

Currently we go back 2 months after the workshop and have discussions with teachers and some students  - to see how they are doing - and check they are on track. We also have a contact person at each school that shares questions with us which we use as feedback to adjust our programme.

Lack a consistent design/evaluation framework, so it’s hard to compare results or scale.

We need templates, monitoring & evaluation ( M&E) tools and feedback loops for continuous improvement.

Current KPIs captured: “number of students reached” only; M&E capacity negligible (2 volunteers) with limited budget for M&E

OUR SPECIFIC QUESTIONS

Design Framework – What model suits youth-focused programmes?
M&E Structure – How do we gather qualitative & quantitative insights?
Standard Templates – Which documents should we standardise for easy replication?
Digitising Data – How can a two-person team manage data capture?

HOW YOUR HELP WILL IMPACT US

It will help us scale with consistency, track impact more effectively and build a foundation for future programme design and funder reporting.
